Wendy Gruber Artist Fund
---

The Wendy Gruber Artist Grant commemorates the life and work of Wendy Gruber, a Sausalito plein-air painter who received multiple awards for her artistry in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work hangs in public and private collections throughout the country.

The Wendy Gruber Artist Fund has been administered through the Marin Community Fund (MCF) for the last fifteen years and is guided by Wendy’s family. Every year, the artist grant is awarded to help support a promising young artist from a local high school who is pursuing a higher education degree in the visual arts.

In Wendy's memory, the fund and its advisors are committed to supporting talented artists who face financial barriers in achieving their academic goals. Our grant provides a financial boost to offset tuition related expense for college-bound students who show exceptional promise in drawing, painting, sculpture, and illustration. We believe in nurturing creativity and providing opportunities for artists to develop their skills and reach their true potential. All pages include a banner image. We can choose one for you or you can provide an image. Please note that if you provide us with an image, it must be a large image with high resolution that has a design that can fit into a long, horizontal structure."

Should you choose to support this organization or project, your contribution will be made to Marin Community Foundation, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation that is a tax-exempt public charity under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).

Contributions made via the Donation Center are distributed by MCF to the donor’s intended recipient. In the case of MCF pooled funds, where donations are collected into a single fund and then granted to multiple organizations, MCF receives your donation and distributes the total collected funds to the grantees for that fund. Your contribution may take up to 45 days to be received by MCF and sent to the intended recipient organization. No fees are assessed on any specific donation to or from a fund. The full amount of your contribution to MCF constitutes a charitable contribution that may be tax deductible. Donors should consult their personal tax advisors for any questions regarding tax deductibility based on their personal tax situation.

In some instances, for reasons outside of MCF’s control, a contribution may not reach the intended recipient. This may be due to the intended recipient’s loss of federal or state tax-exempt status or other reasons. In such a case, MCF will select another recipient organization based on its sole discretion.

If you choose to support an organization by visiting their website to donate directly to the organization, Marin Community Foundation does not accept or hold any donation, or receive fees from any donation made directly to another organization.
